It’s fair to say that La Reserva de Sotogrande will make for an exceptionally enjoyable round of golf. And because it’s set in the exclusive area of Sotogrande, you can expect to rub shoulders with the elite.

The course covers a surface area of 72 hectares and boasts an ample driving range. However, the 6,000 m2 Clubhouse is just as impressive as the outdoor playing areas. With VIP sections and décor like handmade wrought-iron fittings and hand woods, you can’t help but fall for its rustic charm and refined ambience. The restaurant has been influenced by the hand of the catering consultant, Ferrán Adriá, of NH Hotels, and the Club ́s kitchen staff have been trained at the ‘El Bulli’ catering workshop. HANDY HINTS:

Signature Hole: Hole 17. Par 4. This proves a test, even for players of the highest level. A classic long par-4 with an impressive lake running along the entire of the right-hand side of the hole, right up to the green. Play from the tee demands driving the ball towards the bunkers on the left, but to make the second shot easier you can flirt with the water and benefit from being able to fire your approach at the flag with slightly less concern.
