Los Arqueros Golf & Country Club

Designed by Severiano Ballesteros in 1991, Los Arqueros was one of the first golf courses in Spain to have obtained the environmental certificate (ISO 14.001), Health and Safety (oHSAS 18.001) and Quality (UNE 188.001). And whether you’re playing with a high or low handicap, the course can offer an interesting round of golf.

Rather than length, accuracy and direction are the key factors in producing a good round. The topography of the course follows the natural contours with contrasting landscapes that include three lakes and several streams which make each hole a different challenge. The excellent conditions of fairways and greens coupled with the enviable setting and magnificent views of the mountains and Mediterranean Sea makes a visit to Los Arqueros an unforgettable experience.

HANDY HINTS:

• Signature Holes: Hole 3, par-4. This is possibly one of the most picturesque holes on the course, with a large lake and raised green.
• Hole 13, par-5. This is considered the best hole on the course with wonderful views over the Mediterranean and apart from a stream running along the right side, it’s a relatively problem-free green.
